Open Area Structures

Altıntaş Çelik designs, fabricates and erects open area steel structures including canopies, hangars, shades, loading ramps, platforms and crossing structures. These ancillary facilities enhance the functionality and operational efficiency of the main premises.

During our design process, open-area structures are dimensioned according to wind and snow load calculations. All members are factory-manufactured and rapidly assembled on site.

Canopies, Hangars and Shade Systems

Canopy and shade systems are engineered for vehicle parks, warehouse aprons and open production yards. Hangar-type buildings employ large-span truss roof systems for column-free interiors.

Canopies can be designed as extensions to existing factory buildings or as stand-alone structures. Trapezoidal sheet or sandwich panel cladding provides weather protection.

Loading Ramps and Access Platforms

We fabricate loading ramps for logistics facilities and warehouses. Ramp levels matching truck and trailer heights, vehicle turning radii and load capacities are engineering according to operational requirements.

Maintenance platforms and access stairs are also evaluated within the open-area scope. All elements are factory-produced and bolted together on site for rapid completion.

Crossing and Transit Structures

We provide design services for pedestrian bridges between buildings and prefabricated steel overpasses. These structures make intra-facility personnel and material traffic safer while offering weather protection.

Temporary or permanent steel infrastructure for outdoor exhibition and fair venues also falls within this scope. We offer demountable and re-erectable modular steel systems.
